I am contacting you to apply for the internship at the Animal Medical Clinic as a kennel assistant. I am a student at Berry College with the intent to major in animal science on a pre-veterinarian concentration. I saw an ad in the newspaper that this opportunity was available and I knew that I was perfect for this position. I can not wait to expand my knowledge in an actual practice. I have large amounts of animal handling practice of both large and small, because I have a job at the Berry Dairy as well as working at a clinic prior. My communication skills are one of my strengths that I also have to offer, even if it is used minimal in this position.
