What Makes a Good Leader
When reading “Animal Farm” by George Orwell, Mr. Jones and the pigs are both terrible leaders. This brings many to think, what forms a superior leader? The pigs are definitely the WORST leaders. So, who is an exceptional leader? Jesus. Jesus is a legendary leader. He is forgiving, kind, and truthful. Unlike the pigs in Animal Farm, Jesus embodies the characteristics of a strong leader considering he is full of forgiveness, kind to everybody, and taught his followers valid information.
Unlike Jesus, the pigs in animal farm were especially unforgiving. Not only was Jesus a very forgiving man, but he also taught forgiveness as a trait to his followers. Jesus was purely forgiving, but the pigs were not. The pigs

Jesus was a miracle worker of kindness! In animal farm the pigs are unquestionably mean and don’t consider others. Napoleon has another animal risk their life to save his, “... a young pig named Pinkeye was given the task of tasting all his food before he ate it, lest it should be poisoned” (Orwell 37). It wasn’t kind of the pigs to force another animal risk their life to protect theirs. The pigs aren’t kind at all. Jesus was especially kind. He was a “miracle worker, a benefactor who would bring people what they wanted, a king wielding great power” (“Jesus”). Jesus was the kind of person people wanted around. Jesus taught his followers truthful information that benefitted his followers. The pigs announce invalid information. When Boxer the horse was in need of help the pigs had him slaughtered, “Three days later it was announced that he had died in the hospital at Willingdon, in spite of receiving every attention a horse could have” (Orwell 46). Though the pigs aforementioned that they were having boxer taken care of kindly at a hospital, they actually had him slaughtered. This is just one of the many examples of the invalid answers the pigs are spoonfeeding to their followers. Jesus was an amazing leader in that he was a very truthful speaker and teacher. He taught great, “...he told men not to be anxious about life's problems, because God knows their needs and will look out for them” (“Jesus”). Jesus was a truthful and skilful teacher unlike the pigs from “Animal Farm”. Unlike the pigs, Jesus was a very intelligent speaker, which contributed to his stunning leadership.
Unlike Jesus, the pigs in “Animal Farm” are unforgiving, cruel, and cheats. Jesus forgives people from all of their sins. Jesus is precisely kind and is never cruel. He is also very truthful and never lies. Jesus, unlike the pigs has these traits and is a good leader. Being forgiving, kind, and truthful composes a good strong
