Is it possible for a simple book to reveal a complex truth about the world. In George Orwell book Animal Farm, this happens. Animal Farm is a book about animals who rebel against their human masters thanks to the vision of one of the older pigs on the farm. Animal Farm is an allegory because character's, events, and songs in Animals Farm mirror people, events, and anthems in the Russian Revolution that are used to express a complicated truth. One of the goals that the animals had during the revolution is that all animals would be equal, but as time went on, Napoleon became more and more power hungry. One of the original songs that helped the animals get through the revolution was beasts of England. This happens near the end of the book, when the hens had been killed for protesting. Clover begins to sing “Beasts of England” and the rest of the animals join in. But after while Squealer alerts them that it is now abolished, and that there are new songs that they will now sing.This proves the claim because this was also mirrored in the Russian revolution .
