In the novel Animal Farm, author George Orwell explains a point with something most people know about: farm animals. However, these animals are no ordinary farm animals. They are convinced that a farm that is ran by animals is better than a farm ran by humans. Throughout Animal Farm, A reader can see a pattern start to develop as the book continues on. Although the author touches on various points throughout this book, two points that the author really gets across is this book is the animals represent certain things in communism and power can get to anyone's head. The dogs represent a dictators army. To be honest, dictators would have very few things if it were not for their army. The dogs are used for multiple attacks and are often used as scared tactics on other animals. In a way, the dogs often represent Hitler's Nazi's. Nazi's would do terrible things, like kill innocent people, just because their dictator ordered them too. That is exactly what happened when Napoleon ordered the dogs to kill the animals. The longer Napoleon is in power, the more ridiculous the things he does. First, Napoleon runs off Snowball so that he can have full power of everyone. It is important to people to not only have a little control, but they want full control. He then begins to start changing and breaking the commandments. By changing and breaking the commandments it just shows how much he is willing to do with his power. When Napoleon started to gain power, he began to treat the animals as if he was not an animal himself.
