An incident occurs in the Manor Farm as Mr.Jones and his men forget to feed the animals. The animals rebel and chase the humans away out of anger, officially turning the Manor Farm into Animal Farm by reconstructing the place with the guiding principles of Animalism. The first principle states that "[w]hatever goes upon two legs is an enemy"(9) which derives from human physical characteristics, pertaining to their number of legs. While, a creature that walks on four legs, or has wings, is considered to be a friend; favouring the animal's existence more than man.
