The difference in the order of the book and the order of the movie is that the movie allowed the viewers to realize that Napoleon’s rules will end and animals will survive. However, in the book this is not told to the readers until the end.
Another major difference is the way Old Major dies. In the movie he is shot while giving a speech. It also shows that Farmer Jones slaughtered him after death. The animals end up finding Old Major’s head in the room where he was slaughtered after his death. The pigs take it and hang it up in memory of him. The animals grieve over the loss of their leader for a while. Meanwhile, in the book Old Major’s death isn’t as shocking and is caused by old age.
There are similarities in the book and movie as well. One similarity is the corruption of the pigs. For example in both the book and the movie the animals work hard all day long and barely get any food, while the pigs stay inside all day and eat unlimited amounts of food. Another thing that happens in both is that the pigs change the end of the seven commandments to benefit themselves. In both the book and the movie the pigs manipulate the other animals to benefit themselves many
