The end of the Revolution Nicholas II becomes exceptionally unpopular to all. He becomes poor, famine and comes down from his position. Russia becomes the first country was centralised by a socialist government. Stalin was in power until his death in 1953, due to him many had died when he was the ruler. The farm name changes once again to Manor farm, the name that was given to it in the first place. “All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others” (Orwell, 1945:81) With the power gained Napoleon takes the opportunity to seize it and overthrows the other animals and speaks to them about this matter. On Animal Farm, many animals had died on the farm, they had completed a new windmill but this time instead producing electricity it was to mill corn. The farm goes richer but only the pigs and dogs live comfortably. “Four legs good, two legs better” (Orwell, 1945:80) Napoleon thinks that acting like a human is the best life for him and thinks highly of humans.
The two, the Russian Revolution and Animal Farm portray many similarities. It was unfortunate that Old Major and Lenin did not survive to witness the revolution/rebellion as they were the ones that planned and organised it. Animal Farm written by George Orwell gives a good understanding of the Russian Revolution and why it began in the first place. It shows how both
