Animal Experimentation Cosmetics and medication providers both test on animals; with this being said most animals skin is nothing like humans, there are genetic differences between animals and humans. With a lot of cosmetics and soaps there will be a label that will either say “This product has been tested on animals” or “This product has not been animal tested”. More and more products are beginning to be tested on animals. There are pictures of products on the internet and other places that show what has happened to people who have used products that haven’t been tested on animals, causing rashes and other breakouts. They go to humane societies to get the guinea pigs and rabbits so they can test for skin and eye irritation or corrosion, and they use the guinea pigs to test for skin sensitization. With these experiments scientist are hoping that they are going to cure diseases like cancer and AIDS. Money has been raised to continue on this research, but what people don’t understand is that they aren’t just donating money to help cure a disease they are actually donating money to pay for animals that are going to be tested on and more than likely killed. There are alternatives to animal testing I believe it is starting to get close to the time when the scientist need to start using those alternatives. There is nothing wrong with running these test, but there is a time that the scientist cross the line and I believe that when a animal is killed from all these test that is crossing the line. It is time for a new era of testing on animals it is time for the scientist to use
