Animal cruelty is not prohibited but takes place in the farming industry before they hit the plates of American consumers! Making the meat and other animal products that consumers eat very unhealthy. These animals are brutally raised to be brutally slaughtered then put into the food industry. “The farming industry’s main goal is to increase the health of their economy instead of raising the health of the consumers buying their products” ( Fed Up).These facts pertaining to animal cruelty are more than eye opening.
