A proud owner of a baby pit bull left to go to a grocery store and left her puppy outside for her short trip. When she came back, ner puppy was huddled in the corner of the backyard, whippering; it had gotten attacked. Abusers take authority over the prey, they know that these helpless animals will not fight back. Those being abused cannot fight back as much as they can, some cannot even tell their owners or parents or children that they have been abused. So, those who cannot speak about getting mistreated, the perpetrator who did this should not be able to speak anymore as well. Meaning they should have their tongue and voice box ripped out. We live in a world where everyone wants fairness and this this a step towards that. Same punishment for same treatment for abusers. Instead of just “learning a lesson” in jail or prison. They should feel the pain as the victim should. No one deserves to be hurt, but in this case the perpetrator makes. It is a better justice for the people, those who know the mistreated will want to hurt and possibly kill the abuser. Which is “cruel and unusual punishments [shall not be] inflicted”. The mistreated is not going to get a cruel or unusual punishment, if they did it to someone else. If there is proof that this criminal hurt and abused another living creature, that is already cruel enough. It is speaking of a act of fairness. If the act was cruel then the punishment should be. However the punishment could not be considered “cruel” or “unusual” if they did the same thing to someone else. It would be cruel if the abuser received a worse punishment than what they did.
