One reason why people abuse animals is because they forget to do something or forget and don’t do it on purpose. 6 People might not do it on purpose they might just not provide the right shelter. Like if you keep your dog house outside on the ground and it rains it might flood . Or if you keep your dog on a really short chain outside and leave them there for hours at a time. Also another example is that people like hoardes take in lots of animals because they love them so much. Eventually they have so many animals they can’t care for each one like they should. They will end up living in a cramped, dirty, and unhealthy place that can make the sick. Another reason is because younger kids don’t think they are doing anything wrong or think it might be fun to do. 6 Like when you think it might be fun to throw rocks at baby birds. Or knock down a bee hive with a stick or some rocks. Or they might hurt the dog because they think it would be fun and like to see them run away scared of them. A third reason is the worst and people hurt animals because they like to hurt animals and see them suffer . 6 They might do it because they like to have control over others and like to feel powerful. People would rather probably do it on other people but can’t get away with it like animals and can’t do anything about it. Many people abuse animals and don’t even know it and if that keeps happening
