Committing the crime of domestic violence and animal cruelty is not just an indication of a personality flaw, they are most likely to have a mental disturbance. Not many people understand the harm that human and animal abuse causes to friends and family, especially, the victim. Many people and animals are dying because of these situations that people do not care to think of. Verbal arguments are part of human abuse as well as starving a poor animal is considered animal abuse. Help is needed for these victims. There is thousands and millions of situations people and animals go through that includes these types of abuse. Animal abuse is the same thing as human abuse. Women between 18-24 are commonly abused by their partner. Many of them feel that it’s their fault and they don’t ask for help. Ninety-four percent of those women attempt suicide, eighteen percent of them succeed. Twenty people die every minute after being abused. That includes women, children and men. Innocent animals are being abused and starved every day. They don’t deserve that treatment. In the State of Arizona, you get a 2,500 fine and 6 months in jail, for the first offence. The laws for domestic violence states that depending that jail time is only imposed if there is serious harm to the body of the victim. They can spend 5 months or 5 years depending on how bad it is. Studies have shown that people who harm humans most likely started by harming animals at a young age. People do not understand that verbal arguments are part of domestic violence. Words hurt people just as much as physical interaction with another person. People can get mentally emotional about what is being said about another person. This leads to anxiety, depression and or even trying to commit suicide. This is why words are considered part of human abuse. One word can hurt as much as one physical hit.
