Animal cruelty begins the process of rehabilitation and leads to the justice system getting involved, sometimes charging the abuser.“According to ASPCA, an animal is abused every 10 seconds in the United States(My Sananton)”. Some animals come into rehab battered and bruised with broken bones to head to toe. There are lists of different things to do as a rehab specialist. Some jobs are paying jobs and some are not. Some animal rehab facilities do not charge for people to bring animals in, but some expect you to bring the animals in. There are some jobs that students or interns do to volunteer to help out. Most volunteers do most of the work with feeding and cleaning.“Professionals from Wildlife Rehabilitation claims that Rehabilitation can help you reunite the animal to their wildlife home with provided instructions , and also keeping the rescuers safe(Wildlife Rehabilitation).” Wildlife rehabbers help care for the animal after the animals have been recused. Most animals after they are recuse need help and care to get them back and healthy enough to make it on their own, however some animals are not from the wild.
