The purpose of this survey was to examine how pet owners perceived the questions about animal abusers. Every person that submitted a survey own one or more animals. None of them could think of hurting an animal. A question was asked, what do you think causes people to abuse animals? Most of them said that anger causes animal abuse. Eleven percent said they should be punished more. Thirty-three percent said they should not be punished more because a human life is valued more than an animals’
