Who is the famous Vietnamese-born Australian called Anh Do that was born in 1977 that everyone is talking about? Anh Do’s life story is a story worth knowing about because his life not only interesting! But also has a lot of ups and downs.

Early life
Anh Do is a Vietnamese-born Australian that was born in 1977, the 2nd of June. When he was only two years old, his family and 40 more others escaped from Vietnam on a 9-meter fishing boat! On the first day when they were leaving a Vietnamese communist ship starts shooting them, they get away with one of the engines broken. On the second day the boat got attacked by pirates, they took everything, even the working engine. When the pirates left Anh’s father managed to fix the engine with Anh’s uncle’s

His inspiration to become a stand-up comedian came from his dad when he was young his dad would be asked to commentate in weddings. Sadly his dad divorced because he was drinking too much, later on, he got offered to act in his first movie “Don’t Blame Me”, and also got also invited to his first TV show “Pictures of You”.

He is an inspiration to me for two reasons first he reminds me to be thankful for what we have and how lucky we are to have a safe place to live in and much more. He also reminds me to be resilient because in life there are going to be obstacles and you have to deal with it. His character traits are humorous and hardworking, he is humorous because he is always making jokes in interviews and TV shows. He is hardworking because when his father left the family he started selling fish.

He lives a life worth knowing about because his life is very interesting and he shows character traits that are worth knowing. Also, his families attitude to life – not to survive, but to achieve personal happiness by helping others and doing whatever you can do
