In colonel America between 1763 and 1774 the British taxed the colonist and made multiple acts that made it hard on the colonist. The colonist did not like this and said it was “taxation without representation”. Many ask why taxes could cause such anger and rebellions. In my opinion they had a right to be angry take a look at some of these acts and taxes places on the colonist and what they did about it.
The British placed many taxes and Acts on the colonists such as the Sugar Act, the Quartering Act, the Tea Act and the Intolerable Act.
