According to Kingsley, 64% of political seats are held by women, Rwanda has the highest number of women parliamentarians in the world (7). “Senegal, Seychelles and South Africa have more than 40% each, and Mozambique, Angola, Tanzania and Uganda are not far off, with women occupying over 35% of all parliamentary seats” (Kinglesy 7). This information means that Africa is starting to view women as equals. I believe with women serving in capacities of the African governments, it will end a lot of the discriminations that surround countries in Africa. Most importantly, it will give the young people in Africa more hope that too can achieve their dreams, and accomplish more than the people that came before them
