I have quite the track record when it comes to stress. Which is why I choose to do my final project on stress, and everything that has to do with it. In hopes that I can gain knowledge to prove to myself I shouldn't just fall into the comfort of stress. I have always tried to go past my stress and overcome it, but I end up pulling myself into a deeper spiral of stress. In some ways I think if I learn as much as I can about stress I will teach myself about the psychological and even physical torment it actually puts me through. I also in some ways want to help people with their stress, because I know what it's like and how difficult it can be. Metastasis is the spread of a cancer or other disease from one organ or part of the body to another without being directly connected with it. Cytotoxicity is the quality of being toxic to cells. Malignancy is the tendency of a medical condition to become progressively worse. Special knowledge that one may need to know to understand the project is the basics of psychology. However, every single term that I used I made sure to elaborate on what it is and how it affects stress. For example, Selye’s General Adaptation Syndrome, or the Sympathetic Nervous System, both that would be stated in a AP Psychology class. These two terms are both explained in the notes section, but there are some terms that one may not know. For instance, such as psychoneuroimmunology which is the study of the links between psychological and physiological features of cancer risk and progression. Thankfully, there aren't many “new” knowledge in this source collection. Overall, this source collection on stress is used to figure out why we “stress out” but also how one figures out to manage stress so they don’t lead to stress related
