Is John expressing his hatred toward his mother or is it just build of anger over time that has finally exploded itself? Anger according to APA (American Psychological Association) “Anger is an emotion characterized by antagonism toward someone or something you feel has deliberately done you wrong.” Anger is something we have all gone through in our life would it be when we have gotten a bad grade or for not getting the desired present on our birthday. This showed that there was no need to scream for attention all that was needed was a slight hit. Also when I was little I also seemed to have someone at home whom I was able to share my thoughts and feeling right from day one and this is where I learned the importance of expressing my thoughts and ideas in a socially acceptable manner. As I grew older my mom had started going back to work so, I wasn’t able to express my thoughts directly to her however, during the time I was in the phase of writing in a journal which became another tool which I expressed my thoughts and feelings of that week.
