There are two cities who have had a profound impact in my life. Those cities are San Bernardino and Angelus Oaks. Both cities are located in the Inland Empire of Southern California.Both of these cities contribute different feelings and present a separate kind of home to me. When the two cities are compared they seem like completely different places, however they do share some similarities. Although Angelus Oaks and San Bernardino are completely different in weather, scenery, and the sounds one hears, however they share some similarities like both having a scenic route and how living there can expose its own dangers.
In Contrast, Angelus Oaks encounters the changes of the four seasons San Bernardino does not. The winters of Angelus Oaks are very harsh, bitter and cold, but it’s summers are the perfect temperature and stay in the 80 degree range. Angelus Oaks experiences a white blanket of snow in the winter that is often too deep to walk through. If someone does not have a 4 wheel drive truck, they can expect to be stuck for a few days until a snow plow comes through. San Bernardino is home to Route 66, an historic route that encompasses through the city. Dangers of living in Angelus Oaks include the risk of an animal attack. Being surrounded by wildlife it is not rare to be attacked. The other major risk includes the chance of a giant pine cone falling from a tree and hitting one in the head. On the contrary, San Bernardino’s risk include being stabbed or shot by another person. It’s not unusual to hear a story of someone being murdered in this
