The story starts with telling the beginning of Louis’s life as a kid he was a big troublemaker and the talk of the town as being a kid that you could never trust. I feel like back then this was common for most non-american kids, since Louie was Italian he was treated like he didn’t belong with the other kids. His parents tried teaching him that if he didn’t want people to push him around he should start acting like a nice and kind kid, so people wouldn’t treat him so differently (Unbroken).
The way the Angelina Jolie shows the emotion in the story is in one scene where Louie getting beat up, she shows the group of kids that were surrounding him. While and after he was getting hit, the camera was getting a close up on his face to show the pain that he was in, but also how he showed determination of showing the bullies that he wasn’t going to back down to them and give them the satisfaction of winning (Unbroken). …show more content…
It’s ever worse since he’s an Italian- American, but his brother Peter thought Louie could change his life around and show people he’s good at something. Louie brother’s Peter basically forced Louie to join the track team to show people that he wasn’t a nothing. During Louie’s first practice with Peter, the camera focus on how Peter is pushing Louie to do his best. But when Louie stops running the camera shows a close up on his face to show that pain and sadness he was going through, knowing that everyone didn’t believe in him or thought he was capable of doing anything
