Angel Love And Demon Pride Essay

Angel Love and Demon Pride If teenagers were asked about the television show Supernatural, their eyes would light up and they would begin telling a gut-wrenching tale of love, monsters, and two brothers. In the case of this paper, we are looking into my opinion of these couples: the relationship between Sam and Ruby compared against Dean and Castiel. Supernatural is a show where monsters such as demons, vampires, and gods of old are real. When they cause trouble, these monsters are tracked, trapped, and killed by people with experience called hunters. Sam and Dean Winchester are brothers that were raised as hunters and travel America to save as many people and kill as many monsters as they can. In their travels, Sam is cursed to start the apocalypse and Dean is the one chosen to stop it. During their adventures, Sam meets Ruby and Dean meets Castiel. Sam and Ruby first meet when she saves his life in season three, episode one. They meet and do not hit it off from the …show more content…
Ruby and Sam usually try to kill each other when they are mad at each other. They attempt to kill each other several times in their short, two year relationship. That, however, comes to an end when Dean kills Ruby with Sam’s help. Most of their fights were resolved due to necessity: Sam needed Ruby’s blood or Ruby saved Sam’s life. Dean and Castiel have also had their fair share of fights in the six, going on seven, years they have been together, which does not include the time they spent in alternate times and dimensions. Their fights are definitely not as violent and are resolved with heartfelt apologies and the occasional impromptu teamwork when thwarting off a demon who is trying to kill one or both of them. They work through their problems and still protect each other, even when they are mad at each
