The documentary uses to great effect the transition between different time periods as it allows the documentary to show the hard work and passion put into the project with the end goal and the great results the project brings about. This effect is mainly achieved by showing the process by which the sculptures are made with this footage being interspersed with shots of the sculptures as they are first placed on the ocean floor and after the coral reef has started to develop allowing the viewer to see how effective this kind of work is.
