METHODOLOGY II: QUALITATIVE PHASE OF THE STUDY
This phase of the study will use grounded theory as a means to describe the process by which students content knowledge was impacted by the flipped method of classroom instruction, as well as their attitudes and the perception of students and instructors regarding flipped physics …show more content…
The student interview protocol will be validated using handwritten, field note documentation with students also not involved in the study and who will remain anonymous.
I will record all interview data that I will collect and will be transcribed during the data analysis stage. This data will explain potential factors for variation in student content knowledge, attitudeand perception in their classrooms and will be used to determine, qualitatively, if themes will emerge related to instructional approach, perception of achievement, and the quantitative achievement
