Andy's Hat Theory

Decent Essays
I will be starting to right theories on almost anything. Post a subject in the comments and I will take the suggestion into thinking. The first theory will be about Andy's mom, from the Toy Story trilogy. The movies are mainly about Andy and the toys, Andy's mom places a big role, but we barely get any information about her. Well this blog will explain the sad and surprising story about her.

Well it all starts with the hat... You know the red cowboy hat. Some of you might no where I am going with this, now...
Who's hat is this? Well, in Toy Story and Toy Story 2, we see Andy wearing it while playing with Woody. But see it is a copy of Jessie's and not Woody's. Why is this so? Why did Andy buy a girl's hat and not a boy's. Obviously Woody

Nearly one month later, on July 10, 1977, Craig’s body was found floating in a nearby strip-mine pond that had already been intensely searched in the first few days and weeks following his disappearance (Flynn, Grace). An autopsy report determined that there was no definite cause of death, but then again authorities had poured fuel on the body at the time of discovery to “kill maggots” supposedly. This move disabled all ability to make determination of cause of death from tissue samples. The sheriff at the time, along with the grand jury, recommended that the case remain open (Flynn, Grace). After several years, Craig Lloyd Graham’s cause of death is still listed as unknown with no new facts or evidence to help find out who committed this terrible crime (“Craig Lloyd Graham”).…

Being said, your statement about not seeing something the same as another person, is absolutely true. I also plan to go into every chapter with an open mind, researching several materials that would clarify theories that does not coincides with my own beliefs.…

Considering that Roff was only 21 years old leaves one to questions where he got all his beliefs. Differential association plays a big role here because three days after he was arrested a website titled The Last Rhodesian was discovered to be owned by Roff; The website contained photos of Roof posing with symbols of white supremacy and neo-Nazism, along with a manifesto in which he outlined his views towards blacks, among other people (Robles 2015). Gender Policing sometimes defines our society and this needs to change. “Gender policing is a normative approach to gender that involves coercion and socialization of individuals into conforming to the gender binary” …(MediaWiki, 2014.) Gender Policing also goes hand in hand with gender norms. Normative approaches to gender such as clothing categories for either females or males, what sports each the average male or female should play, if a baby is female or male at birth. The fact that at birth we are forced to give babies a gender when just coming out of the mother’s womb just shows how strong the influence of gender policing is in our society.…

    Vermeer's Hat Summary

    • 1070 Words
    • 5 Pages

In his book Vermeer’s Hat: the seventeenth century and dawn of the global world, historian Timothy Brook explores the roots of world trade in the seventeenth century by analyzing six paintings by the Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer. The book has its primary focus on ties between Europe and the rest of the world and the growing Chinese impact on the world during the age of innovation and improvisation. Brook argues that globalization, which is believed to have begun in the twentieth and twenty-first century had its roots in the seventeenth century. This is evident in one of the portraits painted by Johannes Vermeer of the landscape view of Delft.…

In the short story “Everything That Rises Must Converge”, the author Flannery O’Connor uses copious amounts of irony, imagery, and characters in a sort of comedy of errors to hold the reader’s attention and keep him or her interested, while understanding the meaning of the story: the brain creates the inability to detect when they are being hypocritical, or subconsciously exercising prejudice. While O’Connor makes the plot of the story rather simple, the true meaning of the story proves far more complex, dealing with generation-gaps, particularly the inability of the mother, and many other white people, to accept the African-Americans as more than second-class citizens. The characters in the story are invaluable to understanding the meaning.…
