Andy’s Deli has been a large part of the USC-atmosphere for the part thirty-eight years. The restaurant creates a "friendly, friendly atmosphere,” as stated on the official website. There is inside seating and an outdoor patio that welcomes patrons to dine with their pets.
Colleen Behan, a USC freshman, is a regular customer at the deli, and her tradition of eating at Andy’s goes generations deep.

“I’m a people man. I like to serve the young and the old,” he said.
To Andy, the only difficulty of running his own business is finding proper people to work. He wants hardworking and loyal employees, but he says when he does find good worker, they stick around for a long time.
Andy greets all of his guests as “my dear” or “my friend”, which, to many customers, adds to the friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. The deli is run by generations of family. Andy’s wife recalled a story about their young grandson who likes to spend time around the deli.
“He is named after his father and grandfather, but we call him Andrew because so many Andy’s would be confusing.” She said, “But one day, he asked me, ‘Will I be an Andy one day?’”
Andy said in his opinion, he best part of owning a business is all the people he gets to meet and interacting with customers daily. He really loves serving regulars to he deli and “seeing their faces over and over again”.
