“The Monsters are due on Maple Street’’ and ‘’The Andy Griffith Show ‘’
Comparason

The “ Andy Griffith Show ‘’ and ‘’ The Twilight Zone ‘’ have many things in common and also some diffrences. I am here to tell you them.First the simularities , then the diffrences.for my beggining conclusion ,I think that the twilight zone expressed the theme the most. The andy griffith show showed little of that feeling . The ‘’Andy Griffith’’ and ‘’ Monsters ‘’ are similar in the setting by them being both staged in a 1950-1960 era .They are similar in mood because they get scared of something or someone .
They are similar in irony , by having something strange coming into the town/street. They are similar by theme ,by the theme being not to accuse somebody

They are diffrent in mood because in ’’ monsters ‘’they are more frightened ,but in “andy’’ they are more conserend than scared. They are also diffrent in irony because in the first passage ,Pete Van Horn is shot. In “andy’’ the irony is that this stranger keepes bothering a lady that he ‘‘loves’’, but the lady has never seen him before .In theme the two are diffrent by the first passage having them blame people for what is happening. In the secound passage the town people are blaming one person for their mistakes . They are diffrent in complactions by having the first passage trying to figure out which neighbo/neighbors is the monster/monsters .In the secound show the people in the town are trying to figure out who the strange and peculer , person the man is . In conclusion I think that ‘’The Monsters are Due on Maple Street’’shows a bigger picture than ‘’Andy Griffith Show’’. Their are more diffrences in both stories than simularities .They both have the same catogories but ,diffrent conclusions. The catogories are ,setting, mood, irony, theme, complacations, and lastly ,conflict. These catogories helped me figur of the simularities and diffrences .So again, i think “The monsters ‘’ made a more vivid picture

The character Poe in, the novel, The Man Who Was Poe, is quite similar to the actual Edgar Allan Poe. Likewise, the story written by Avi is much like a few short stories written by Poe himself. The novel and short stories share settings, themes, and characters that closely resemble one another, both with a chilling mood, theme of death, and characters that are utterly insane. Though these tales were not written by the same author, the two have almost identical writing styles. This leads to distinct storylines with the same underlying characteristics.…

Casablanca is considered to be one of the greatest films of all time, and it’s not hard to see why. Coming at a time when the world needed it most, the film brings comedy and romance to a dark situation. When you first take a look at The Rape of the Lock, and A Modest Proposal, they seem like wildly different pieces of writing. In one, a person presents a proposal to fix the poverty issue in Ireland by eating children. The other tells a story of a superficial woman who makes a big fit about getting her hair stolen. But while Rape of the Lock and A Modest Proposal are two very different pieces of writing thematically, they share a lot of the same propaganda and humor techniques that were a hallmark of satirical writing during the Enlightenment. These techniques occur everywhere in both pieces of writing, and there are several that they share in common.…
