Andrew Middleton: Comparing Man To A Lion On The Hunting

The best way to describe Andrew Middleton playing basketball is to compare him to a lion on the hunt. Although a lion isn’t the smallest animal, Andrew is a six foot four freshman, a lion is extremely stealthy and can sneak quietly up on it’s pray, and in a matter of seconds, the hunt is over. Middleton is not a man of many words, but he lets his actions speak loudly on the basketball court. Andrew is a freshman at Thomas College in Waterville, Maine. In the first inters-quad scrimmage at Thomas the one play that sticks out in my mind was when Thomas Senior guard and MMBCWA first team all-state player of the year, nonchalantly took a shot only to get it shoved back down his throat by the quite Middleton who acted like it was no big deal, because to him, it probably wasn’t.
Middleton has a very serious personality. “I’m very passionate about getting all my stuff done and setting myself up here at (Thomas) college so I can live well and do something I love” says Middleton, “Whether that’s playing basketball or having a good job where I can come home to my family.” …show more content…
He is currently enrolled in the sports management program but would like to switch to business management and minor in sports management. Andrew is definitely all business and is constantly trying to better himself. Out of all his basketball accomplishments the one thing about his high school career that sticks out the most is losing in the playoffs his sophomore year. “It was disappointing because we had a really good team.” Andrew was the lone sophomore in the starting lineup of seniors. Andrew says that they didn’t live up to their potential and that last game they lost still bothers him
