As a child, Jackson didn’t have an easy life going for him. He dealt with the loss of all of his family members, left to suffer as an orphan. His family became a crucial and important part of Jackson's life, after “fathering” many unrelated children from the orphanage. Though he didn’t know much about his heritage, he loved family, and that became a positive in his presidency and overall attitude.
