In recent years, many people have came up with the ridiculous idea that Andrew Jackson, a true American hero, should be removed from the $20 bill. Reasoning being that Jackson was a “mass murderer”, “racist”, and “brutal leader” However, many of these claims are exaggerated and inaccurate. Also, Jackson’s various momentous contributions were completely ignored. For example, Andrew Jackson, arguably the bravest man ever lived, was a war hero and led America to numerous victories in the War of 1812. Specifically, the crushing victory in The Battle of New Orleans exemplified Jackson’s determination and his fearlessness.
