Andragogy and pedagogy are both ways of learning. The difference is that pedagogy is more focused on children. They pretty much don't have a say in what they are taught and the way that they learn. The teacher chooses when, what, and how they learn. Andragogy focuses on a way that everyone of andy age can learn and the ways of wanting people to learn. It's harder to motivate adults so the teacher will have to try to apply life to try to get the students to relate so that they can actually learn. Andragogy and pedagogy are similar because children are still experiencing life and are learning through their life experiences. I believe that children learn better from demonstration while adults learn based on their life experiences. In my opinion, adults learn because they are more goal oriented and children learn because of other motivations like getting good grades. …show more content…
Unlike the traditional library, you don't have books and other resources right in front of your face. One problem that you can run into while doing an on-line research is making sure that your information comes from a scholarly source and not a poplar source. To avoid that situation, you should get all your research from the Bethel library. I've tried searching for an article on the library and it's a little more complicated because I found it difficult to find the article that was within the topic I had chose to write about. Narrowing down the research by selecting a time frame for when an article was written helped some. I need some more practice with the on-line library. Just the fact that the library offer hundreds of different articles, journals, and research gives me a peace of mind because of the many options to do research

Prof. Frollis, Bethel University differs from more recently established "on-line universities" because it was first a college and grew into a university and then added the on-line capability. Bethel University established itself as a well known educational center. In my personal case Bethel University adds to the credibility of the university and my degree because the P.A.S. program for ministry was first started at Bethel University and was known as the home study program at that time. In addition, the seminary itself was also on the Bethel Grounds in McKenzie, TN.…

Unlike most people, who change their mind on the career they want, I knew from the start that I wanted to be a teacher. I have many goals I hope to achieve when I am a teacher for example, making class a fun and exciting environment for the students and have them look forward to coming to class. I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was young because I had a teacher that I had a close relationship with and made me love school.
