Ever since, she said she has lived by herself scavenging for scraps, just like my sister and I. Then she said that's how she ran into me, that she saw Generals coming while she was looking for food so she tripped over a loose board on the cellar door and that's how she found it. Right as she is finishing her story I hear the door open, It kinda felt like Deja-Vu at that point.
The door creaks everything is silent until the silence is broken.
“Hello?”
“MARLEE!” I couldn't contain my excitement, I run up to her squeezing her inside and out. I bring her over to the corner Andie and I were sitting in, and I introduced her to Andie the illegal. We talk for a while, explaining how Andie and I met and how she is illegal just like us. We were fine

Daisy looks at me, then at Andie, and back at me one more time.
“N-n-no!” she whispers though her voice is filled with anger, “We can't we've lived like this our whole life and just giving up, that's not what mom would want us to do.”
“But mom's not here, ok? So we have to grow up and make decisions of our own!” As I retaliate their faces became expressionless. “If you're not coming with me than im going alone, I don't need you i'll be fine. I will be cleaning somewhere, getting payed having a life and you can live down here waiting it out until the Generals catch you. And then what are you going to do then? Huh?” I feel kinda mean hearing those words come out of my mouth, but its the truth, its how it would be.
“Fine,”she says.
I go numb, I can't believe that just happened,I can't believe that she said that. Now im the shocked one, my face is as pale as ever and my feet feel like they are glued to the ground. She motions for me to go to the door. I step one foot in front of the other and make my way to the stairs. I turn my head once last time to say goodbye before I make my way out of the door into the real

I walk up to him and say with pride, “Im Marlee Tullis, im 15 years old, and im illegal.”
~
Andie looks at me in shock.
“Thats your sister you can't just let her do that.”
“She was probably just kidding about the whole thing, she's probably going to stay out there for a few minutes and then once we start to worry she will come back and laugh at us right in our faces for believing her little joke.”
“What if it wasn't a joke what if she wasn't kidding?”
“What do you mean, of course she was kidding.” I look at her a little shocked right now. Maybe she's right, maybe she won't come back. “We have to stop her.” I grab Andie’s hand and run towards the door. Stopping right at the top step. I slowly open it and I look around. Nothing, I turn my head slightly making sure nothing is noticeable and I see something. Its Marlee, but she's not alone, there's a guard grabbing her by the shoulder and wrist her arm by her back in an upside down triangle shape. He didn't seem as nice as Marlee had said he would be.
Andie creeps her head up to see what I see, as if she can read my mind she answers as calm as she possibly could be.
“No we can't, If we do we die.” She brings me down from the stairs and closes the
