A person that is bound to be successful is the one that has perfect academic grades, gets a scholarship to a university, and is able to find a high paying job. Although many people may agree that that is what success is about, it really is not, at least not entirely. To understand this people must know that there are lots of other types of success not just working extremely hard to get wealthy and famous. So, what is success? And so that is what he did. He went to one of the best universities in Australia, Saw that the business score professors were getting paid the most, and decided to work hard to become one. After 10 years of working really hard, he eventually did become a business score professor. He was making a lot of money, but he was “desperately unhappy” , wasn't a good husband and he was becoming estranged with his kids. So he decided to quit his high paying job to follow his dream, and although it was scary for him to make such a drastic choice in his life, he is now happily accomplishing his dream. There are two good points that are learnable by reading this. First is that even if an individual makes a lot of money, that doesn't automatically make him/her successful if they are not happy. “People are so focused on not failing that they don't aim for success.”, nevertheless failure can actually be the best teacher for success if people learn from their mistakes and understand why they failed in the first place. In fact each and everyone of the extremely successful people have failed a bunch. The website “But They Did Not Give Up” is dedicated to showing successful people and what they had to overcome to be were they were/are.
