The ancient wonders of the world are very mysterious. Since they were from so long ago, not as much is known about them. Still, there is evidence that they were real, and still interesting facts about them. Starting off small, the Pyramids at Giza. However, the only pyramid included in the list of wonders was the Great Pyramid, otherwise known as the Pyramid of Cheops or the Pyramid of Khufu. It still stands today. Other ancient wonders, like the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, may have never even existed. They were both natural areas created by man, and were meant to hold natural wildlife. The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus and Jokhang Temple have similarities too. They are both temples created and used by ancient people, and hold many secrets about them. There are also wonders like the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, Colossus at Rhodes, and the Lighthouse at Alexandria all were toppled over by earthquakes. Also, the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, the Statue of Zeus at Olympia, and Colossus at Rhodes were all made to honor Greek gods. It is safe to say that the wonders have many
