It is incredible to me that religion is a common thread that links much of our world’s history and culture, and as a person of faith I would like to understand both the development of religion and its place in the modern world as well as how religion serves to both help and hinder our civilization. The fact that billions of different people from different walks of life from vastly different experiences all feel the need to explain why they’re here and what their purpose is, is a statement on how similar we actually all are.
