Ancient Inventions Of The Solar System

Decent Essays
Some of the ancient astronomers looked at the sun, moon, and stars for answers on how the solar system worked. They built the stonehenge and pyramids to get a closer look at the solar system too. Most of the ancient ways on how people looked at the solar system were unreliable and not correct because, they did not have powerful telescopes, or the correct equipment to view the solar system. The ancient people looked to the moon phases for when to plant crops, and when will there will be the most rainfall, and what the season is.
I believe one of the most important inventions was the wheel. You can find a wheel in almost everything around you like in clocks, cars, and in windmills. This invention has changed peoples live in many ways like transportation

According to Stephen Gardiner , "The Industrial Revolution was another of those extraordinary jumps forward in the story of civilization." This refers to how in a whole the Industrialization was a good thing. While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily negative consequences for society because of pollution and child labor, it was actually a positive thing for society. Industrialization's positive effects were child labor laws, new inventions and especially the concept of mass production. One of the most influential and long lasting effects were the development of child labor laws.…

Both of these men believed that their theories about the planets were accurate. You had Copernicus who believed that all planets orbited the sun while the moon orbited the earth. This led to improvements in how goods were manufactured and how labor was set up to make the process of trading goods more efficient. 10 factors that led to the beginnings of both the industrial and market revolution: 1) Indian Removal Act of 1830 This act drove Indians from their native lands down the trail of tears to the West of the Mississippi. “The ancient astronaut theory all started in 1968, when Swiss researcher and author Erich Von Daniken published a book known as Chariots of the Gods, which became an immediate bestseller.” Within the book he put his hypothesis that, “‘the technology and religions of many ancient civilizations were given to them by ancient astronauts who were welcomed as gods” (Ancient Astronaut Theory). In the book he gives evidence and reasons as to why he believes in this theory, but one thing is wrong with all this. All the “evidence” stating that ancient astronauts visited earth, inspired human culture, and influenced human advancement; things such as cave paintings, stone artifacts, and ancient structures; it’s all just art and architecture, we have no…

Gum!! I would have to say that gum is the single most awesome invention in the world. I say this mainly because I would have never thought that something could be made to where it was edible; that could start as a solid piece of perfection, and then gradually transform its self into a stretchy, balloon blowing, way too much fun to play with when you are done piece of gum. All of this just in a matter of moments after chewing and savoring that juicy flavor of perfection. Though I love me some Juicy Fruit and Double Bubble, I must admit that I did not always have these feelings towards gum and all of its awesome counterparts.…
