In the Inca religion they worshiped a few gods. In their religion they sacrificed animals. They sacrificed animals daily. One of the gods they worshiped was Viracocha. The Inca believed that Viracocha made the Earth. Brown llamas were sacrificed for Viracocha. Also they had a moon god they called Uma Quilla. For the Inca the main shrine was called coricancha. They called their priest Uma Uillaca.

The Inca established a government. Their government was a monarchy. The monarchy was called tawantinsuyu. They called their ruler Sapa Inca. His wife was called the Coya. Their governors were called a apus. Ayllu is the most important part of government. Tokoyrikoqs searched houses in the Inca Empire. You could not murder, curse the gods, or steal. If you were caught stealing your hands were cut off.

For instance, the houses were only one story and one room. Not everyone was allowed to go to school. Traveling was also not available to everyone. Noble boys started putting in earplugs at fourteen. Men wore long sleeveless shirts or tunics. Most girls got married at the age of twelve.Once you were too old to work the government provided for your needs.

There are quite a few things that happened in the Inca history. Including they started forming in 12th century A.D. In the Inca Empire lived around twelve million people. As well as about one-hundred different ethnic groups among them. One week on their calendar held ten days. They had roads all across the Empire. The roads were 15,000 miles long. Two of their weapons were the axes and slings. Runners were used for sending messages. The Chancas attacked them in 1438.

Lastly, the Inca Empire no longer exists for the following reasons. Before Pizarro showed up disease had weakened the people. Pizarro took over the Inca Empire. Pizarro also killed their king. The Inca Empire was conquered in
