1. Ancient Past (Shame Ancient city) (古城之殇 )

Introduction

Songzi Ancient City is an over 1600 years old town. I was born and grow up there. Since the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AC337), until 1943 it has been the capital city of Songzi County in China. After nine dynasties, with rich culture, many cultural relics, it has a very important historical and cultural value, and is an epitome of thousands years of Chinese civilization.

By the end of 40's last century,though the wars were ended, the new China government was established, however, the ancient city did not get any protection, but had been repeatedly destroyed, especially in the 1960's and 70's during that unprecedented catastrophic Great Culture Revolution.
