Greece is well-known for its artistic contributions which was made out of stone, structures like Acropolis in Athena and The Parthenon, creation of the Olympic Games and philosophers like Aristotle, Plato, Socrate and the famous leader Alexander. We have being used ancient Greek ideas in math, science and art for 3000 years. (How did the, n.d.) Except science and art, there is no widespread information of modern and ancient life of Greece people. This report will describe the changes in typical life from ancient Greece to modern times.
An ancient Athens had 30,000 citizens who all of them were men, because just men could be full a citizen. Foreigners, women and slaves did not have rights to do anything without ruling council’s permission. If someone did crime, he would kick out of the city, because, men chose someone who disliked and wrote a name of broken pottery which called a “ostracon”. Even it was not part of Olympic games, but it was one kind of games which they did not involve much power. In ancient time, men played naked and girls had not to see these games. The Greek people play the discus, javelin, long jump, boxing and they enjoy watching the horse racing at the open-air stadium.
