Women rights have always been an issue; especially back in the ancient times. If I had to pick which civilization be apart of, I would obviously choose the one that gave women the most freedom. After reading upon each different civilization, I would have to choose Ancient Egypt. It appears that the Egyptians gave their women the most freedom. Egyptian females were surprisingly treated equal to Egyptian males. Egyptian women were noted as independent women. Unlike most women around the world during the ancient times, Egyptian women had the exact equal rights as Egyptian men.
