Have you ever wanted to visit Ancient Egypt? Ancient Egypt was one of the first civilization. Ancient Egypt is very interesting because their way life, work, Egyptian world, religion, gods\goddesses.
First of their way of life is extremely interesting. The food they ate was all fresh and was all grown by the egyptians.The rich had the same food as all the people. But in general they had bread,fruits,veggies,lamb, and goats. The clothes weren't even clothes. They were only wrap around clothes. Women wore pieces of cloth with a belt to keep the cloth on them.Men wore skirt like kilts but still wore belts to keep it on Their houses were made mostly sun dried mud. Some other jobs are priests, scribes, and government. The work that they did not get paid with money they got paid with food,drink and shelter. If they went on strike they did not get anything. Normal government was ruled by the pharaoh/priests. They are the highest in government.
The land was very gifted. Every time it would bring dark,rich soil. The best kind to crow crops and plants in. The people believed that them and the land were connected.
Their religion and law is mysterious. When they broke the law they were sentenced to death. The journey to the afterlife was intense. You had to get through all kinds of objects including a giant crocodile,being caught in fishing nets,and people trying to drowning them and take their heads. Then they had to have a pure heart. If you did not then you get eaten by a part crocodile,lion, hippopotamus.
Four of the most of the gods\godesses are ra,amun,osiris,isis. Ra was the sun god he could take many shapes. He wore a headdress with a sun disk on his head. His head was shaped like a hawk head. He traveled the underworld. The second god is Amun. He wore a ostrich pelted hat. He had a ram-head. He is the king of all gods. He is one of the most powerful gods.
