When I have to write an essay about the ancient civilization, Egypt is the first civilization that comes to my mind. Ancient Egypt is one of the ancient Northeastern Africa civilizations. It is located in the lower reaches of the Nile River and the west of ancient Egypt is surrounded by dessert. This civilization is started about 3150 BC and divided into two parts, the Upper Egypt and the Lower Egypt, and both are under the same pharaoh. According to the history record, there are six main periods of it, including Pre-dynastic Period 3500 BC to 3100 BC, Early Dynastic Period 3100 BC to 2686 BC, Old Kingdom Period 2686 to 2181 BC, 1st Intermediate Period 2181 BC to 2060 BC, Middle Kingdom Period 2060 BC to 1786 BC, 2nd Intermediate Period (Hyksos's
