Egyptians invented a writing form called hieroglyphics, which used pictures-like symbols to describe certain things (Cribb, J. T., Klee, M. B., & Holdren, J. ,2004). In Ancient Egypt they drew two dimensional side view styles that only showed one side of objects or people. Egyptians used local gemstones and metals such as lapiz lazuli and gold to make clothing and jewelry.
