Triven is at his grade level according to organization section, he is consistent with discussing the same topic in his writing. He used supportive details to describe the game he plays. According to this writing pieces he needs work the most work in punctuation and endings. Triven can end his sentences with punctuation, and use capital letters for the beginning. He does have spaces between his words, but was not always consistent with the spacing. Triven did write an ending, but more could have been said. I am planning on using a picture book that we have read together Aunt Chip and the Great Triple Creek Dam Affair to look at what types of punctuations the author is using. Then teach Triven about the rules. Other reinforcing activities I can do are, having a paragraph with no punctuation at all, allowing Triven and I to create signs so that every time we see a (period, exclamation point, and comma) a certain punctuation we do a body movement, lastly I could create cardboard signs so it could be more like a game when working on punctuation. By using these strategies, it should help Triven improve his punctuation. Also, hopefully by using more punctuation he will want to add bigger spacing between his
