The song I chose, “kill em with kindness”, is about not fighting and ignoring awful people. It may be easier to be mean, but being kind makes you feel better about yourselves. I know this because in the song, it says “the world can be a nasty place...put down the weapons you fight with.” this means, sometimes things can be rough but you don’t have to fight (that’s why it says “put down the weapons you fight with”) this song also has a great deal of metaphors. For example: “your lies are bullets, your mouth's a gun...” what she means by this, is that you can hurt people with your lies and anger (like a gun with bullets.) my past experience with this song is that I listened to it when I was younger.
