Having the results of the reading test tasks is a vital element when creating a series of activities. Firstly, the teacher will have knowledge in relation to the current students’ levels that will help him to choose the most appropriate exercises for future tests. Secondly, the teacher will have a methodological framework aligned to the syllabus of the subject and the requirements established in the CEFR for B2 levels. Finally, this test results will help professors to measure students’ evolution while facing an English reading task based on the CEFR.
The teacher will start checking the students’ answers with the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet “CITAS”. The use of this software will provide an average of scores to the professor that will help him to determine the exams’ closeness to the B2 levels established on the CEFR.
