Analyzing The Globe Theater

The topic of my project is to build a labeled replica of The Globe Theater. I thought it would be fun to build a replica of The Globe Theater. I am really interested in things involving art, so I thought it would be the best option. I also thought it would be the best option if I wanted to do it with a partner. We could effectively divide up the amount of work we had. I worked with a partner to build the replica of The Globe Theater. My partner, Bailey Lawless, and I both worked our hardest on this project. We both worked effectively and on my part we did not have any problems with working to much. We both had very similar workloads that we both divided up equally. She made a circle out of the card board to make the globe shape and then made different parts to go with that. Some of the parts include the stage and the towers that go on the sides. She did this rather quickly so she could pass it on to me. When Bailey gave it to me I fixed some parts of it to make it look more like the reference image. I also covered it with a thin cloth to make it have more of a smooth finish and not the bumpy texture of the cardboard. After that I needed to begin painting. To make straight lines I taped tape on the structure in the size I wanted. I did this for mostly all of the horizontal lines but I free-handed the vertical lines. After that I tried to make intricate designs but my brush was not small enough so it ended up looking messy. I also painted the rest of the theater including the stage. After I finished painting and waited for it to dry I labeled some of the things I thought was important, but I found that some parts where hard to reach and be noticeable at the same time.
