Analyzing The Ethical Dilemmas In The Sports Industry

The segment of the sports industry that I want to work in one day is college athletics specifically in an administrative capacity. With the hopes of becoming the head athletic director.
The people I talked to within the athletic department at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill included Brandy Battista, a female with the Athletics Communications Department, This particular segment of the sports industry deals with collegiate athletics. The services that they provide include athletic facilities for practice, scheduling of games, athletic apparel, academic support, housing, meals, and medical treatment. The organization of this segment that I would like in work in during my professional career would be in the segment of the Athletic Director’s Office at the organization of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The organizations who the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill compete against include all Atlantic Coast Conference Members, as well all there other non-conference competition they play throughout the year. The organizations that the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill benchmark could include Duke University, North Carolina State University as they are their main rivals along with Duke University being a strong academic school and

In my opinion issues I could see arising in the future include issues within recruiting violations. Another area I see of concern could be with in how coaches deal with athletes. A final area of concern could be academic issues, I know the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, just had a major issue with academic issues and ultimately the case was dropped but still could lead to more issues in the
