Analyzing The Essay 'Together Jose And Zenit'

Decent Essays
I, think that servicemen and women should be able to keep their dogs. I think they should because if they are together for 8years they get a special bond. When they would get a new trainer or owner they probably wouldn’t like them or the way they trained. Dogs are hard to train the way you want them to be trained. When someone else gets a dog trained that’s how they’ll stay forever. I think that dogs should get to stay with their owner. Dogs get adjusted to the humans they are with every day. Many would argue that a murderer shouldn’t receive an award of bravery, however, I believe it is important to view all sides of a story. On that note, I am recommending Zinaida Portnova for The Harper Lee Moral Courage Award. Portnova was a seventh grade student when Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union, and hated the Germans after an incident where Nazi troops hit her grandmother while confiscating cattle. After this event, she sought justice through joining the Young Avengers, a Belarusian resistance movement with the Komsomol organization. She went on to kill upwards of 100 German soldiers in an operation where she sabotaged actions at a pump, brick factory, and local power plant.…

I am against the idea of workplaces allowing employees to bring their dogs to work. While the idea itself is great and it could help improve the mindset of employees, there are also reasons they could be a hinderance to employees. Such as allergies, health issues or a fear of dogs, unpredictable behavior of even the most well-behaved canines and their constant need for attention while at work. First off, while having an adorable dog interact with employees can help reduce stress and anxiety in some cases it tends to benefit some rather than all. Some people have mild to severe allergies to dogs and they'd prefer to have a work environment free of things that put them at risk to health complications.…

At the end of Great War (1914-1918), European society faced astronomical cultural and social changes that eventually led to the rise Fascism in Italy, Germany, and Spain. Throughout the 1920s, Jose Ortega y Gasset gave series of lectures that eventually became his magnum opus entitled The Revolt of the Masses. His work centers on the rise of the mass-man and his disregard for political authority (or the state), culture, and progress. Gasset essentially argues that the perfection of the 19th century gave rise to the barbarism that occurred throughout the 20th century, which allowed for the conditions that led the mass-man away from being a noble man and gave rise to his selfish nature. The mass- man serves as the perfect spokesperson for universal…
