Analyzing Professor Keohane's Weaknesses

It's crazy how this semester ended so fast. I was in total shock when I heard the semester was ending; it seemed like the first day of class was yesterday, I can remember everything from that day, its insane. Throughout the whole semester, Professor Keohane has challenged us to better writers and critical thinkers. I accepted the challenge, and feel that I've become a better writer and critical thinking because of all the new strategies Professor Keohane has taught me. Of course, I still have some weakness in my writing, but I know throughout my time at Montclair State University I will overcome theses weaknesses. The number one thing that Professor Keohane taught me that I will always use to enhance my thinking is critical strategies. Before when I read a book or short story, I would read to find the meaning of the passage without actually thinking more of the passage. Most of the time after reading, my mind was blank I didn't get what the passage might. A lot of times when I'm writing I have a hard time of going into depth about my topic. What I mean by this is, I am writing four to five sentences on a subject, but it's going to be hard for me to write eight to nine sentences on that topic because I can't think of anything to write about. An example of this would be essay #2 I fell short of five pages because I couldn't think of anything else to write about; my mind was shut down. Another problem I have is citations the whole thing is confusing. Work cited is the most confusing because you have to put quotations, commas, italicize words, and much more. I never understand it, the citation info on canvas helped out a little, but it still affected me. On the documented essay citations lowered my grade dramatically, I didn't get anything right I didn't know where to put the commas or quotations marks it was
